Chosen village is located at the border of two districts – Marijampole and Alytus. The site is located at the northern part of the village, it is surrounded by natural environment and existing living structure.
Also, there are a system of ponds and canals on the plot (fig. 16, 17). The greenery that is existing in a plot was the part of a homestead park.
There are some surviving buildings on the site that are on the list of cultural values and are protected by law.
